C. Jason Liang is a licensed patent attorney in front of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Jason is a patent practitioner with 15 years of experience serving with large pharmaceutical and biotech companies when he worked at Foley and Larder, and with many start-up companies when he worked at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati. Prior to working in the law firms, Jason has an extensive pharmaceutical experience while he worked at Optimer Pharmaceuticals as a scientist and IP manger until Optimer’s successful IPO. Jason received his Ph.D. from Temple University majored in organic chemistry and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Scripps Research Institute. Dr. Liang provides services on IP related matters such as patent filing strategies, patent prosecution, Freedom to Operate analysis and opinion, patentability analysis and opinion, and patent portfolio management.
